Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi Gets Production Start Date From Director James Mangold

Like every Star Wars project, Dawn of the Jedi remains shrouded in mystery, but James Mangold has recently clued audiences in to when the movie could hit theaters. Star Wars: Dawn of the Jedi is taking audiences back in time to the birth of the Jedi Order, some 25,000 years before the original trilogy you could say it will be set “A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.” Mangold’s standalone movie is one of the few upcoming Star Wars films in the pipeline after Disney and LucasFilm culled the overly packed slate of post-sequel trilogy projects.
